What's new for the young people in the town?

What do they think of the town's facilities?

Have they got some views to express?

Does everything favour those with money?

Do they think the schools in the area provide really good teaching?

Which are their favourites?

Sam,
You've got the wrong idea or shall we say - the cart before the horse!

I'm in it to get things done - and some of this can happen NOW - this holiday - and I'm going to have a bloody good try!

However make no mistake , I don't believe in handing people stuff on a plate! The young people will want to do most of the hard work.

These are the kind of kids that skateboarders are - they get stuck in and work and work and work -

How else do you think they learn their tricks?

On the other hand nearly all the councillors I've met are absolutely brilliant at

doing nothing

they're favourite phrases are:

"yes,but"

"well, yes, maybe"

"it takes time you know - you've got to be patient"

They are very very patient - they fall asleep in their meetings being patient.

Take the Ulverston Web Site - this is something, that if I was in business - as I was at the Falls - I would get fixed in three days -

We've been waiting for over six months for it to get sorted

Back to skateboarding - I'm off to The building suppliers to check the price of concrete paving slabs - bought in quantity . . . . .
