Does anyone have ideas of where to go for live entertainments?
Would you like to tell us of an activity that the people in the area would enjoy?
Is there an event coming up that any one would like to recommend?
If we get a good response we can lay things out here so that differnet activities can be slotted into different areas

Ulverston is such a fantastic area to live in - if I were to spend a week there I would be planning a different walk every day. They would have to satisfy the following criteria:
* take around 3-6 hours
* involve some interesting landmarks, features, views
* have somewhere to either eat my butties/drink the contents of my flask
* have a pub selling a decent lunch/pint to look forward to at the end of the walk
Why look for anything else .... bliss ....

The Rose and Crown has good local groups regularly - I'm not sure when!
I would like to find live entertainment that does not include 'disco' style or rehashing of old 'hits'. Where can I find original local bands?
